It was an urgent Sunday afternoon call to Mark Levy that brought him to meet with three daughters around a dining room table. Dolores, had had a serious heart attack. After being a widow for 33 years, her marriage to Art the past 17 years was a beautiful thing, even as she struggled to care for him despite his dementia and health issues.

 

Dolores was released from the hospital to rehab and within 10 days would need a place to call home. The condo she shared with Art would be impossible now. She needed a space for herself to recover and reduce her daily workload. And Art would need his own place that would offer the attention he required. We had no idea what our first steps should be.

 

Mark listened patiently as my sister and I told him what we wanted for mom, and Claudia talked about the special place she wanted for her dad. Within days, Mark had made appointments for us to visit several care facilities. When we gave feedback, Mark gleaned our concerns and pointed us in the right direction.

 

With limited time to make important decisions, Mark Levy was a godsend to us. We wanted the best for our parents and Mark helped us with patience, warmth and a true sense of caring.
